Investment Approach

The investment objective of Living Well Communities Investment Trusts is to provide members with short-to-medium term, high growth, property investments focused at seniors living product in South East Asia.

GOVERNANCE

Living Well Communities Investment Trusts are governed by a comprehensive and industry leading approach to investment management.

The Trustee invests, manages and oversees all investment activities of Investment Trusts. The Trustee regularly reports to members as to the performance of the Unit Trust, and provides comprehensive due diligence and feasibility planning for all property investment activities.

The activities of each Investment Trust, and the Trustee, are primarily governed by the terms of a Unit Trust Deed. The Trust Deed sets out the investment powers of the Trustee.

The Trustee retains investment managers to implement each Investment Trust’s investment objective and investment strategy. The investment managers utilize the services of a wide range of qualified, experienced and knowledgeable consultants to manage and carry out specific tasks within each investment strategy.

AUDIT & MONITORING

All Living Well Communities Investment Trusts are independently audited meeting Australian accounting and corporate standards.

A comprehensive investment monitoring regime is maintained, the goals of which are to:

  • Assess actual performance of the Unit Trust against the investment objectives
  • Assess actual performance of the Unit Trust against a composite index of similar available investment options
  • Ascertain the existence of any particular weakness in the investment managers or Trustee’s strategy or strategy execution
  • Allow the Trustee to continually assess the ability of the investment managers and their strategies to successfully meet the Unit Trusts broad and particular objectives.
